Oceans Alive Highlights Tourism's Impact on Conservation at British Chamber of Commerce Roundtable

Oceans Alive presented group findings on conservation issues being positively or negatively affected by tourism at a roundtable event organized by the British Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Vipingo Ridge and Southern Cross Safaris. The event was attended by several dignitaries and tourism industry players, including the Kilifi County Governor Hon. Governor Gideon Mung'aro, the Deputy Governor of Mombasa Hon. Hazel Katana and the British High Commissioner. Our CEO Des Bowden, later presented what Oceans Alive does and the impact it has to the British High Commissioner Jane Marriot OBE. She later posted some encouraging words: 'Sounds like Oceans Alive is doing some amazing work. I have hope for humanity and the planet when I meet people like you.' Let's work together to create a better future for our planet.
